Benefit Show in Jakarta, by the Jakarta Players

Jakarta Players raised $500 at their comedy night and generously matched that donation, giving a total of US$1000 to our project!

FREE COMEDY NIGHT!
The Jakarta Players community theater group presents a casual night of free comedy!

Saturday, Dec. 15^th, 2007 at the American Club Theater - 7:30 p.m.

Entrance is FREE to all and some limited amounts of appetizers will be offered free! Three short comic plays will be presented for this evening only!

This is a benefit show for "Clowns without Borders". All donations this evening will be given to Dan Roberts, JIS Alumnus 2002 and former Jakarta Player. Dan is bringing his non-profit group called "Clowns without Borders" to Jakarta in Feburary 2008.

"To bring joy and laughter and enrichment programs for street children living with poverty through the art of Circus."

Dan will also be working closely with JIS's IB Theater program teaching JIS students.

Please join us for an evening of laughter and fun and giving and charity! Drinks will be available for your purchase from the American Club. Script material is appropriate for high school students or older. Seating available on first come – first seated basis.
